Like I said, I review tons of products, tons of instruments, but I’m always looking for those that offer something unique. This is a really amazing and inspiring synth If you just want to mutate one oscillator, go for it, only want to mutate the oscillators but keep the fx? Go for it! There is a synthesis gumbo in the engine of Absynth. That’s not to say you can’t get some aggressive and harsh sounds out of it, but for me…it’s uniqueness is in the smooth, evolving, “floating” textures you can create. There is something about the “texture” of the sounds that come out of it…they seem to sorta…float.
